Senior Mendix Developer (NL)
As a Mendix developer, you will be part of a team that’s responsible for developing and maintaining solutions on the Sustaira platform with its customers and partners. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and contributing to the overall sustainability goals of our customers.

Minimum of 3 years Mendix development experience, preferably customer-facing.
Mendix certification: Advanced or (preferably) Expert.

Sustainability Analyst - Intern (NL)
Sustaira is looking for a talented, sharp, and motivated Sustainability Domain Intern to join our team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be a "Sustainability Swiss Army Knife," bridging the gap between deep sustainability domain knowledge and our agile, AI-powered platform. You will work cross-functionally to support our marketing efforts, enrich our product databases & roadmaps, and assist in ensuring customer success.

Product Development: Research and enrich Sustaira’s sustainability databases to ensure our modules and app templates are powered by the most up-to-date industry benchmarks, emission factors, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CSRD/ESRS, GHG Protocol). in this role it is vital that you can understand and translate frameworks, databases and processes into understandable & digestible information for our product & client facing teams.
Marketing: Translate complex sustainability regulations and trends into engaging content. You will support the creation of blogs, whitepapers, and LinkedIn updates that help our audience understand how technology accelerates sustainability impact.
Customer Success: Support our client facing teams in preparing for client workshops, conducting sustainability assessments, and helping customers map their ESG data journey within the Sustaira platform.
Market Research: Monitor the evolving sustainability landscape in the Netherlands and EMEA to identify new opportunities for Sustaira’s Sustainability App Catalog.

The Sustainability Specialist: You have a solid understanding of Corporate Sustainability/ESG (concepts like CSRD, SBTi or Carbon Accounting). You are passionate about turning strategy into measurable action.
Educational Background: You are currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration (ESG focus), or a related field.
Analytical & Tech-Savvy: You enjoy working with data and are fascinated by how AI and Low-Code technology can solve sustainability challenges.
Communication: You are an excellent writer and communicator in English. You can simplify complex domain topics for different stakeholders.
Self-Starter: You have high energy, a growth mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Support the design, development, and evaluation of AI/ML models used for tasks like emissions estimation, document parsing, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.

An A+ sustainability and AI allrounder, who is a self starter that wants to make a difference
Currently pursuing a degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Environmental Informatics, or a related field.
Strong foundational knowledge of Python, data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), and machine learning algorithms.
Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and/or large language models (LLMs) is a plus.
Experience with tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar frameworks.
Interest or coursework in sustainability, climate change, ESG, or environmental data
Ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Business Developer - Sustainability Solutions (NL)

Drive business development activities to book and run discovery calls and demos together with Sales.
Identify, research, and engage prospective customers across target industries
